Since 2001, Ms. O'Shaughnessy Montaigne has owned and operated her own law office located in Rego Park, NY. Her practice has been devoted to elder care law, estate administration and planning, guardianship matters, real estate closings and business formations. Ms. O'Shaughnessy Montaigne is qualified and receives appointments as an Article 81 Guardian and Court Evaluator by the Supreme Courts in New York, Queens and Bronx counties. Due to her expertise in the field she also serves on the Guardianship Advisory Committee in New York County. Ms. O'Shaughnessy Montaigne is recognized by many local nursing homes for her committed work to the practice of elder care law. She is considered by these nursing homes as an attorney to whom they will refer their residents who need assistance with Medicaid Planning and the preparation and submission of Medicaid Applications.
